Try this delicious potato gratin with chorizo


4 potatoes, peeled and cut into medium slices

1 ½ cup of sausage

2 teaspoons of salt

1 ½ cup Manchego cheese

¼ onion finely chopped

2 cloves of garlic

½ tablespoon vegetable oil


COOK chorizo ​​in hot skillet over medium heat until golden brown; remove it from the pan and reserve.

SAUTE the onion and garlic in the same skillet where the chorizo ​​was browned; if necessary add a little more oil.

ADD the chorizo ​​to the onion and garlic sauce, cook for five minutes and remove from the heat.

BRING salted water to a boil, add the sliced ​​potatoes and cook for eight minutes; drain the water and plunge the potatoes into boiling water.

GREASE an ovenproof dish with a little butter, arrange the potato slices to form a bed, pour a little of the chorizo ​​on top and sprinkle Manchego cheese; repeat until you fill the plate and make sure the last layer is cheese.

BAKE at 180°C for 15 minutes; remove from the oven let cool for three minutes and serve.
